Hi, I'm Katie Arnett, the founder of Your Ancestry Tree. Since 2017, I've dedicated my time to helping others uncover their family histories and construct their unique ancestry trees.

My journey in genealogy began in 2004 when I assisted my mum in her quest to find her father. This personal experience ignited a deep passion for exploring the threads that tie us to our past, leading me to pursue genealogy professionally.

I take pride in guiding others through the intricate stories of their ancestors, ensuring that each discovery is both meaningful and enlightening.

Depending on the research carried out, costs vary from £15 to £20 per hour. The exact rate reflects the complexity of the work involved, such as the depth of archival research required, the number of records to be examined, and whether international sources or specialist databases are needed.

All research is undertaken with care and attention to detail, ensuring that information is accurately sourced and clearly presented. Services may include constructing detailed family trees, tracing specific ancestors, verifying existing family information, locating historical records, and providing supporting documentation where available.

Before any work begins, I am happy to discuss your requirements and provide an estimate of the time involved, so you know what to expect. Updates can be provided throughout the process, and research can be tailored to suit your goals and budget.

For each certificate there is an additional cost of £12.50 (correct as of April 2026)
